This is a piece which explores more deeply a part of my painting "Transgender Buddha Faces Mara" located on its lower right hand side. As my DA friend Thomas at [link] was a constant subliminal companion in the exploration of this work, i dedicate it to him.
I also dedicate the work to the euphoria and sensuality of youth, humanity, and nature.
This is probably the smallest painting i've ever done, at 8" X 10".

It is always a great experience for me to look at your work. The deeper meaning of your art always shines through but sometimes that makes it difficult for me to comment. You see, your work deserves more than a quick glance and short comment.
This one gives me such a great sense of peace. It appears that the person represented here has tapped into a profound and infinite space that is within. The magic of the connection between things. Although his eyes are closed, he sees beyond the boundaries of tactile sensation. When i think about this with my eyes closed, the skin just seems to melt away. That shell becomes transparent so that the 'real' person shines through. You have captured much more than an emotion. In my opinion, you have captured an energy....that which might create emotion in us simple human creatures.
